FashionWeek came to an end. I had the most amazing, busy, hectic and inspiring week definitely one to remember. I still have to show you the shows from Sunday. Let’s start with Dorhout Mees ‘Passage‘. A feminine collection inspired by wood.
The show started with a beautiful video presentation and dreaming music. Mees inspiration was clearly reflected in her creations. The wood came back in the beautiful shoes, oversized waist belts, huge bracelets around the arm, clutches and in the prints of the dresses. The use of materials consisted of shiny fabrics and contrasting materials. A perfect match with the rough textures of the belts and shoes. The colors that was used where white and cream, brown, yellow, green and fine prints. Very unique were also the smooth knitted fabrics with beautiful wide cols.

This season presented Dorhout Mees also her fourth shoe collection, which was created with 3D printing techniques. The shoes looked like pieces of wood and were for the models a challenge. RESPECT!!
