Spijkers & Spijkers closed the 20th Edition of Amsterdam Fashion Week. For the fall/winter collection the sister came up with the name ‘Around the world in a day’. Their inspiration came from the book Áround the world in 80 days’ by Jule Verne.
The collection is playful and wearable. We saw a lot of plaid prints, baseball jackets, pencil skirts, grey woolen socks with black heels. Ofcourse the typical SIS dresses where there also. The color palette consisted of blue, black, gray, pink, orange, green, yellow and dark red. The SIS collection is feminine, tough and comfortable a perfect way to end this Fashion Week.
