Bloggerrrr spotlight timeeee!!!!! Today you will see an interview with Rachèl Pagen, a 21 years old girl living in Amsterdam. At her blog ‘Boringthngs‘ she developed her love for fashion, interior and photography. Rachèl blog is a mixture of fashion en interior wrapped in an inspiring minimalistic package. With her blog she wanted to show us that simplicity doesn’t have to be boring. Amen for that! I really love her minimalistic style! Her outfits match always with her shooting locations. Yes I have a weak for that. So I always read Rachèl her blog and get inspired. I met Rachèl last saturday at the CFclosetsale and she is such a sweetheart and really gorgeous, but you can already see that on her pictures! Of course I ask her of she wanted in my blogger spotlights and lucky she said yes! So here we are! Let’s read the interview!

1. Can you tell us a little about yourself?
My name is Rachel Pagen, I’m 22 years old and I live in Amsterdam, together with my boyfriend. Since january I’m graduated in Communications and blogging is my part-time thing!

2. What was the reason why you started your blog?
I have a big passion for photography. 1,5 years ago, I made so much pictures, I was wondering if people would like to see them. I started my own blog called Smoothiefresh (don’t asked me about the name haha).

3. How would you describe your clothing style?
It’s very minimalistic and basic. You will find many black, white and grey pieces in my closet. Sneakers and sweaters are my favorite, so I’m ready for winter!

4. How do you keep coming up with material/content for your blog? Many people struggle with coming up with different articles/posts
Every morning I start my day with scrolling through Instagram and Bloglovin. I get very inspired by pictures, so you will find many printscreens on my phone!

5. What are you favorite brands and shops?
That’s a easy one: Zara, H&M and Monki. H&M for the cheap basics, Zara for the classy items and Monki for the outstanding pieces.

6. What’s now on your wishlist
An item of House of Sunny! Their clothes are amazing but quite expensive for me. The Nike Air Max Thea’s were on my wishlist for a few months but I finally bought them. My Fall favorite.

7. If someone was interested in blogging, what would be a few things you would suggest? Tips!
Think carefully about what you want just before you start your blog. I made lots of changes during my blogging period and I don’t think that’s a good thing for collecting followers. Second tip, make beautiful pictures with in one style. Are you a girly kind of blogger, make girly pictures. Are you an industrial lover with a basic style, make minimalistic kind of photos.
