1. Can you tell us a little about yourself?
My name is Esmeralda and i just turned 26. I live with my love in a small city in the Netherlands. I’m blogging for a year now. Besides a blogger i’m a teacher, i am doing it for 5 years now.
2. What was the reason why you started your blog?
A few years ago i started to read some blogs. I saw this business was growing and i was like: i could do that. But honestly it took a while before i really started. I wasn’t convinced if someone was waiting for my blog. But when more and more people were asking me what i was wearing or where they could buy it…i thought ok, i need to start.
3. How would you describe your clothing style
Colorful with a edgy touch. I’m convinced you can look fabulous just by wearing affordable clothes. Mixing several materials, can cause magic ;).
4. How do you keep coming up with material/content for your blog? Many people struggle with coming up with different articles/posts.
Looking at social media, magazines and listening to the people around me.
5. What are you favorite brands and shops?
Zara, Asos, H&M, Michael Kors, Primark and Forever21.
And i’m addicted to Aliexpress, trying to get the best price for certain things.
6. What’s now on your wishlist
The Hamilton Large in Raspberry (Michael Kors). I’m a sucker for bags, it’s like an obsession.
7. If someone was interested in blogging, what would be a few things you would suggest? Tips!
– Try to show your personality. Your blog is the medium, but after all your personality is what makes it interesting.
– Do some research!, look at other blogs. What do you like and why. It helped me to find my own style.
– Step out of your comfort zone, don’t be shy. It’s your platform so you decide what to share and it’s your vision.
– Be predictable, it sounds boring but in my opinion people really want to know what they can expect.
– Be realistic, how often can you post and remember besides the online world there is also an offline world. So be sure everyone around you gets their attention they deserve ;).
– last but not least: have fun!
