Morning babes! Before I start with a new blogger spotlight I wanted to complain about the trains here in Holland. OMG! Everyday we have problems. Yesterday around 09:00 I went from home and around 12:00 I was at my work. Crazy! Normally It would take one hour to Rotterdam. I hope this morning everything will works. Haha okay this was so not important, but sometimes it’s nice to complain and that someone only would listen or in this case read about it.
Back to the blogger spotlight. Let me introduce you to the sweet Nanne from the blog Fashiable. One of the first bloggers I met when I just started with my blog. Nanne started at a young ages with her blog and write about her outfits, personal life, fashion and photography. She is crazy about prints what you will see in her outfit.

1. Can you tell us a little about yourself?
Well, hi! My name is Nanne van Hout and I’m a 20-year-old girl from Amsterdam. I’m studying Media, Information and Communication and I really like it so far. I love to spend my spare time with my beloved boyfriend and friends, but of course I take much time to blog. That’s my hobby number one since May 2009.
2. What was the reason why you started your blog?
Pff, that’s already a really long time ago. I think I was around 14/15 years old when I was very active on a Dutch forum for teenagers. At that time I became very interested in everything that has to do with fashion. I posted some of my outfits and it felt so good to receive positive comments from other girls. In 2008/2009 the phenomenon ‘weblog’ came up and even though it was very unprofessional, I started to like it very much. I followed some girls and in a short time I decided to create my own blog ‘Fashiable’.
3. How would you describe your clothing style?
I would describe my clothing style as cute but bold. I don’t want to dress too cute, so I try to combine the outfit with chunky boots, my favorite leather jacket or so. And something I can’t avoid when I talk about my clothing style: prints. I wear one or more prints almost every single day. Not even on purpose, it just happens.
4. How do you keep coming up with material/content for your blog? Many people struggle with coming up with different articles/posts.
I have to admit that it is quite hard. Unfortunately, I don’t have inspiration or a photographer every day. And since I’m studying this year, it’s difficult to blog every day of the week. I always have a few returning subjects to fall back on, like inspiration posts, personal related articles or photography. And when there is a photographer/friend nearby I take photos of my outfit of that day.
5. What are you favorite brands and shops?
River Island, Topshop, & Other Stories and ASOS.
6. What’s now on your wishlist?
A Crossley turnrable, vintage globe and swimwear
7. If someone was interested in blogging, what would be a few things you would suggest? Tips!
Just do what makes you happy. You can always try! Keep it personal and try to think outside the box. Maybe there are subjects you suddenly really like (or maybe not) to write about. And don’t be a copycat! It’s always a good idea to take a look at another blogs to get some inspiration for new blogposts, but never copy to whole idea.
