Good morning sweeties! Time for a new blogger Spotligt with in the spots Stacey from the blog I Write Fashion. Stacey started her blog 8 years ago, to create a place to express her thoughts on fashion and style. She writes about everything what she loves like fashion, interior, beauty and Stacey’s favorite things. She is a good writer, because she is an online editor and social media manager at an online communication agency. Yep, my dream job! Stacey do you have some tips for me how to get there? :).

1. Can you tell us a little about yourself?
I’m Stacey, a 29-year-old, living in Amsterdam for a year now. I work as an online editor and social media manager at an online communication agency in Amsterdam for 7 years now. When I’m not at work I spend time with my boyfriend, friends or family. I love fashion, style, beauty and interior design. I love to shop, go out for dinner and go to the movies. And above all I enjoy life to the fullest!
2. What was the reason why you started your blog?
I started my blog 8 years ago when I was writing my thesis in college about online shopping. I then came across the first (simple) blogs. I loved the idea that you could write about anything on your blog. I decided to start my own blog because it’s a place where I can express my thoughts on fashion and style. From that point on, my blog started growing each day. 7 years later I still blog for the same reason. I love to write about things I see and love.
3. How would you describe your clothing style?
My style is very casual and chic at times. But lately I have been transitioning to a more minimalistic style. I’m focusing on more basics and a few eye catchers for that fierce look when I need it!
4. How do you keep coming up with material/content for your blog? Many people struggle with coming up with different articles/posts
I create content that is personal. I write about style, beauty and trends that I like. I don’t write about things that don’t mean anything to me. So it’s easy for me to come up with new posts because if I like something I just write about it. I want my blog to be personal.
5. What are you favorite brands and shops?
My favorite brands and shops at the moment are: & Other Stories, Weekday, MANGO and ZARA. In addition to that I get a lot of inspiration from COS.
6. What’s now on your wish list?
Right now I’m looking for the perfect pair of black jeans: skinny, a little bit ripped with ankle height trousers!
7. If someone was interested in blogging, what would be a few things you would suggest? Tips!
If you love blogging enough to make it your work: be sure you have enough time to invest in it. Because it takes a lot of time to get everything up and running. When you’ve reached that point, work with a content calendar to write down all of your ideas and to schedule posts. This way you’ll be able to keep up with the world of blogging.
