Blogger Spotlights | Lot of Style

Morning sweeties! It’s time for a new blogger spotlights. This time we have a little interview with Charlotte from the blog Lot of Style.
I met Charlotte for the first time by the Ilovefashionbloggers Canon workshop. She such a sweet girl I see her now more often and we always have a blast. Charlotte have a great style. Than she looks girly and the other moment it’s a though chick. On Instagram se have alway nice pictures, you should definitely follow her over there.

1. Can you tell us a little about yourself?
My name is Charlotte and I’m a 24-year-old blogger from Alkmaar (but looking for a place in Amsterdam). I started my blog www.lotofstyle.blogspot.nl in January, so I’m pretty new in this blogger world. I’ve always loved fashion as long as I can remember, but now that I have a blog, I can share my vision with others and hopefully inspire them. I graduated in Tourism, but would also love to work in fashion. My dream goal is to combine these two passions someday!

 2. What was the reason why you started your blog?
It actually all started with Instagram. I created an account last August to edit some holiday pictures, but really started using it later that year. Because there were so many followers asking me if I had a real blog (I only had a Tumblr account), I decided to create one. I never thought it would be so fun and it would end up this serious! I’m so happy I started it, otherwise I wouldn’t have met all these great new people!

 3. How would you describe your clothing style
I don’t have one particular style and it really depends on how I feel that day. I can be girly, classy, edgy, biker etc. I don’t want to be boring and I like to be different than the crowd, so some days I’m probably a little bit overdressed. But, as Coco Chanel said: In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different. I can totally relate with that!

4. How do you keep coming up with material/content for your blog? Many people struggle with coming up with different articles/posts.
This is definitely the most difficult part of blogging. I don’t have a blogpost online every day (except for Instagram) because I don’t have that much time, so luckily I don’t have to think of new content everyday. I mostly blog about my outfits and the things that I do in life (such as events, holidays, etc.). I love to look at other bloggers to get inspired, but I also look at girls walking by on the street. I see fashion and outfits everywhere!

 5. What are you favorite brands and shops?
I have a lot of favorites like Zara, H&M, Bershka, Topshop, New look and Primark, but I also love to shop in these little stores with brandless clothes where you can find these unique items that nobody haves.

 6. What’s now on your wishlist
A small black Chanel bag. I already have a lambskin medium flag bag, but would love to have a smaller one that I can take with me when I go out to party.

 7. If someone were interested in blogging, what would be a few things you would suggest? Tips!
Don’t underestimate it! You’re always busy with your blog, social media, taking pictures, thinking of new content etc. It takes a lot of your time. But, it’s so much fun, so I think it’s totally worth it.

I would also say that you should always be true to yourself. If you blog about things you really like your readers will feel that and come back to your blog. Last tip: Meet up with other bloggers. It’s really fun and you can learn from each other!
