Blogger Spotlights | MaryJosie

This week I interviewed Josie from the blog ”MaryJosie”. This beautiful girl started her blog three years ago because she has a passion for fashion. The idea of Josie blog is to share her favorite products and fashion tips and above all to inspire others. Josie style is diverse but she love to mix feminine items with cool almost manly items.  Let’s get to know her a bit better…

1. Can you tell us a little about yourself?
Hi! My name is Josie and I started blogging almost 3 years ago. I’m 22 and I have a blog called maryjosie.com. I’m an absolute fashion enthusiast, make-up artist and graphic designer as well.

2. What was the reason why you started your blog?
I had to make a website during my 3rd year on the graphic design school. I always had a big interest in fashion so I decided to start a blog.

3. How would you describe your clothing style?
June & Josephine is for adventure seekers, dreamers, women that want to have fun  and don’t take life seriously ALL THE TIME. It’s also for the skinny dippers and cocktail sippers. We love ice cream, long rides, different kinds of music and art, fancy dinners in bed, sharing a straw with a loved one, spontaneous trips. We love to dream but we also do everything to make them come true.
4. How do you keep coming up with material/content for your blog? Many people struggle with coming up with different articles/posts
Yeah it can be frustrating but I find helpful to look at my categories when I don’t have any inspiration. Somehow I always have ideas and I look at a lot of other blogs to!

5. What are you favorite brands and shops?
I don’t have a favourite brand but I love River Island, Urban Outfitters and ZARA.

6. What’s now on your wish list?
I really want to save up for a nice designer bag, I’m not sure which one yet 🙂

7. If someone was interested in blogging, what would be a few things you would suggest? Tips!
Hmmmm, everyone seems to be blogging these days. So it’s quit hard to stand out. Try to stay creative and don’t look at other bloggers too much. I like to get my inspiration from magazines (Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar), fashion campagnes/commercials and music videos.
