Good Morning babes! It’s already my nineteen bloggers spotlight and I hope I can do much more. This time I will introduce you to the gorgeous Nadia from the blog Nadia V. A big fashion lover with a great sense of style. On her blog she gives fashion advice, styling tips and for in the further she wants to add beauty advice. I met Nadia at the River Island re-opening in Amsterdam. I followed Nadia already for a while (because I loved her fashion style) and finally we had the changes to see each other in real time. Really a sweet girl and of course I asked her of she was interesting to come on my blogger spotlights column. Read underneath the answers she gave on my questions.

1. Can you tell us a little about yourself?
My name is Nadia van de Ven, I’m 22 years old and I am a Fashionblogger @ www.nadiavdven.com. I can pretty much tell you that fashion runs through my veins. From a young age my interest in fashion was already there. I also studied fashion at TMO a fashion business school in Doorn. During this study I’ve got to know the whole fashion industry. I learned how a fashion collection is built, increased my commercial awareness and I examined in the newest fabrics, colours and designs. Styling and trendwatching were also big parts in the study program. Working in styling and expressing my creativity in styling I don’t see as a job but as a hobby. This is also what I like to do most in my spare time. On my fashionblog I mainly work on styling looks and giving fashion advice, I will add some beautyblogging in the future because I already have experience in cosmetics and love to work on that in my spare time, and a little bit of lifestyle.
2. What was the reason why you started your blog?
There is nothing better than doing what you love for a living right?! So that is why I started my online fashion blog, through my fashion blog I show the world my true passion for fashion and styling through my eyes. My vision on fashion is that it must be true to you, what makes you the most confident, happiest and prettiest. And that’s a message I’d like to pass on to my readers, a good styling advice how you can combine your clothing items at its finest.
3. How would you describe your clothing style
Very girlie, casual and chic. I love dressing up and wearing heels as high as they come, my closet is filled with 100 of dresses and I won’t leave my house without putting up my lipstick and a nice perfume. But I also like to wear more casual outfits when I go shopping for example, on those kind of days I love to wear comfy and fashionable clothes and finish it up with a nice pair of sneakers or slip ons. I make sure I wear accessories with those outfit though to make it look fashionable also.
4. How do you keep coming up with material/content for your blog? Many people struggle with coming up with different articles/posts
I’m daily busy with researching in fashion like trendwatching. I do that by checking out the latest fashion shows, checking other fashionblogs, reading magazines and most of all watching streetstyle everywhere I go. From all this research I translate the trends that I like the most to me and my own style.
5. What are you favorite brands and shops?
I love zara, I could shop that store empty if my wallet would let me haha ;), river island is also one of my favorites, h&m (trend), topshop, asos, sandro paris, Valentino, Pinko. These are all stores and brands that I love to shop at the moment. When my budget allows me I would definitely visit chanel, dior and ysl a bit more often ;).
6. What’s now on your wish list?
Chanel bag, Valentino shoes, Balenciaga ankle boots, a leopard Sandro coat, YSL clutch, jennie-ellen heels, Chanel sneakers, a nice beige hat, grey leather zara pants, a knitted zara sweater and a fake fur Supertrash coat that I saw last week when I was shopping. And actually the list goes on and on so let’s leave it at this for now haha
7. If someone was interested in blogging, what would be a few things you would suggest? Tips!
Make sure it is really your passion, and you could truly see yourself investing all your time in your blog. If you really love it, it will be a hobby were you’ll love to be working on. And last but not least spent some time doing research, but don’t copy!
Nadia I’m a big fan of your fashion style! Every outfit is gorgeous and you can see that you know what you are doing. Every thing is right, the clothes, accessories and make-up. You give me and I think others girls as-well a lot of inspiration with styling. Am so jealous at your feather and leather fringe skirts. Love, love, love it!
