Hi there! How are you all doing today? About a few days It’s already Christmas :). The perfect excuse to shop a pretty Christmas outfit. I always love doing that! When Actiepagina.nl approach me with a challenge I couldn’t resist. They ask me to shop online and offline. Which one I do prefer online or offline? What are the advantages and disadvantages? And what cost more time? Of course I took on the challenge and make it my own Christmas task. Looking for the perfect Christmas outfit online and offline.

Online Shopping
I decided to shop my Christmas outfit by Zalando. They have a lot of different brands on the website so guaranteed to success. With the special discount-code from Actiepagina.nl I get also a 12% discount on my order. I was looking for a party dress with a lot of glitters. With Christmas and New Year a girl is aloud to wear a lot of glitters :). I went straight to the party looks, oeps 1180 items. I though OMG! because I want to see everything before I choose my perfect dress. After an hour I arrived finally by the last Items. I think I had 15 dresses that I liked. Now I had to choose and that was difficult. Well there was one dress what was screaming my name, but of course this was an expensive one. Also they had only size 40, but this was by a lot of dresses. Everything that I liked my size was sold out. I try to choose, but I went crazy! I decided to give It tomorrow another try. Well It took me 4 days to decided my dress haha. I took the expansive one what was screaming my name. The dress is from Frock and Frill and cost €104,95,-. I paid €92,36 with the discount-code. I order it on Wednesday and still waiting for my package :(.
Offline Shopping
Thursday evening I went after my work to Utrecht for my offline (Christmas) challenge. In addition to Amsterdam is Utrecht one of my favorite shopping city. I went to my favorite stores like H&M, Zara and Mango. I found a lot of great items, but a perfect Christmas dress was nowhere. Sorry am very picky :). But at the H&M I found a beautiful gold cardigan made from velvet with embroidery of sequins and metallic yarn. So I went back to the H&M to buy this beautiful cardigan. Also I perfect Christmas Item and totally different than my first look from my online challenges. I want to wear It with my leather black pants and big black hat. The cardigan cost €59,95,-.
Conclusion
DON’T get me wrong, I’m a big fan of online shopping; It’s incredibly easy to find and compare so many different items in such a short space of time, you can stay in bed especially with this cold/rainy weather and you can find always discount-codes to make It more attractive. Although there is also a down-side to it. The offer is too large and therefore difficult to pick an item. Especially for people that doubt often like me. Also you have to wait for you package and you have to hope you order the right size. If you don’t you have to send It back and most of the time that cost money. About online shopping! I love to browsing through racks, wandering the streets, trying on, experiencing and even smelling new clothes and bags. You always know It fits and you have It the same day. Maybe this cost more time because you have to fit the clothes and have to wait for a long time (on busy days) by the counter. So If you can see both online and offline shopping has its benefits but I think I prefer offline shopping! Although I couldn’t without online shopping! Let’s give it a draw, shall we? 1-1?
