Hi there! How are you feeling today? It’s monday stupid question, well about four days it will be friday 😉
More than a week ago I attended a bloggers event held by Olympus in honor of opening their first concept store in Amsterdam.
When we arrived at the store we get a warm welcome with delicious/healthy food from Eva Lia the owner of The Cook Teaser. Than we get a introduction presentation from Lars the product manager of Olympus. He explaining why Olympus PEN line is great for bloggers. After that we had another presentation by creative photographer Brendon de Clercq. He showed us his work with the Olympus camera’s and give us handy tips and tricks. Than we had the opportunity to try the cameras ourselves! First I tried a old model of the PEN line (sorry I forgot the type).
Meanwhile when we tried the camera’s Brendon ask everyone for a photoshoot by him. I don’t yet have the photo’s, but when I do I will show It to you.
After that Brandon take us outside at the busiest street of Amsterdam, Rembrandtplein. I chance my PEN camera for the Olympus OMD E-M1. The select group of bloggers at the event where actually on of the first people to try out this beauty. I felt so honored! You can see the photo’s below. I used also some shoot taking by Anita, Saranda and Tali.

First I had to get used to using the camera, because I always work with Canon Cameras. Lucky I learn fast :). But boy the quality of the Olympus OMD E-M1 is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I love the brightness of the colors and the blurry effect on the pictures. All the olympus cameras have very cool functionalities, for example a touch screen, wifi connection, storymode functions and a option to apply Art filters. I really loved the last function. These cameras are light weight and looking fabulous. So they are right the Olympus is the best camera for a blogger (like me). Unfortunately my bank account won’t let me buy one! 🙁
