Good morning! Yesterday was the last day of MBFWA. Unfortunately I had to miss that, because I had to work. But on Sunday I was present :). I saw the shows Dorhout Mees and Tony Cohen. I was really excited, because those two designers are definitely my favorite. Let’s start with Dorhout Mees! She always blow me away with her romantic collection.
Esther Dorhout Mees Showed Sunday her SS15 collection named ‘O‘. The collection is inspired by the wonderful ability of water crystals to transform under the influence of the environment. After a video and waves were projected at the catwalk beautiful models walked by on high geometric, asymmetrical heels. Immediately you can see that the collection is inspired by water. Light blue and white were the main colors, a touch of pink was added at the end. Fabrics were both airy and shiny, reflecting the attributes of water. We saw strapless, structured dresses, sheer, high shoulders, ruffled tops, pants with high waisted underpants and maxi dresses.
It was a beautiful collection! The models walked slowly on the runway. With the shoes It’s looks like the models where walking on water. Dorhout Mees created the catwalk in a beautiful water world.
