Time flies and before you know it, it’s Mothers Day. A day where we take the time to honour the mother figures, that has blessed our lives. The mothers that formed us to be who we are, the same women whose shoulders we cried on and whose laughter has brightened our days. In celebration of this holiday I teamed up with Jane Kønig a Danish jewellery brand to giveaway one of their beautiful customized ‘Lovetage Necklace’. A perfect mother day gift don’t you think?
When I got an email from Jane Kønig with this opportunity I was doubting to accept it. I lost my mother when I was 13 years old. You could imagine that Mothers Day is hard for me. But actually this was the perfect opportunity to have something to symbolizing my love for my mother. I choose for two love tags with the letters M & W. My mothers name Maria and my own name.
