Travel | Conscious hotel Vondelpark

Hi sweeties! I started this week with a great event organized by Bestseller. The press weeks are started which means a lot of PR agencies will show their new Spring/Summer’16 collection to their press. Bestseller couldn’t left behind, but they did something special. All the brand ambassadors where invited for a special press day at the HQ in Amsterdam. Lucky me I’m a brand ambassador of ONLY. We started with a little tour/presentation of the brands that Bestseller represented, pick our favorite look for a photoshoot, customized a denim jacket and we had a lovely dinner together. It was so much fun with the other bloggers! And this time I didn’t have to take the train to going home, because Bestseller arranged a hotel stay in Amsterdam. How cool is that?

I stayed at the eco-design hotel Conscious Hotel Vondelpark. The hotel is located in the heart of Amsterdam, just beside Vondelpark. Almost everything about Conscious Hotel Vondelpark is sustainable and the hotel is holding a Green Key Gold certificate to prove it. For example, the tables in the rooms are made from recycled coffee cup holders and the ‘stone’ counter in the bathroom is actually made out of pressed paper and yet never gets soggy.

The next morning we had a delicious 100% organic breakfast! I can really recommend this hotel! Its Hip, friendly, green with a perfect location.

Travel | Sir Albert Hotel

Yesterday I told you about SAIL Amsterdam, but we had also the luxury to spend one night at this exclusive Sir Albert Hotel. This hotel is located in De Pijp, where you can find the famous market ‘The Albert Cuyp’. In a few minutes you are at Museum plein and P.C. Hooftstraat. Perfect location for a stay in Amsterdam.

Sir Albert hotel is a luxury and trendy 4*hotel with a modern interior. The rooms look like a private mansion with designer furnishing like a Queen & King size pillow-top bed by Simmons, mini bar, Dead Clean Bathroom and Spa body amenities, Led tv and wifi.

The lobby/lounge is just as gorgeous as the rooms. Next to the lobby you can find a Japanese pub-style restaurant ‘IZAKAYA‘. Here you can find the best Japanese dishes.

I felt immediately welcome in this hotel and I really can use to that luxury, wow! Totally my style, haha. I only missed a bathtub, but you can not have it al. If you wanna visit Amsterdam I can recommend this hotel for sure.

Insta Diary | MBFWA 2015

Morning babes! I’m happy! Why? Because it’s Friday, whooohh! Instead of an outfit post an Insta Diary about the last weekend of FashionWeek. Actually I wanted to show you my other look from day 1, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to shoot that look. Maybe I will shoot it this weekend and show it later.

About FashionWeek! Actually there is not much to tell. I only went to two show ‘Tony Cohen & Dennis Diem‘. Normally I go to a lot of shows, but with my busy work schedule it wasn’t possible. But this FashionWeek was relaxing. Normal it’s alway from one show to the next, no eating and late nights, exhausting. Now I didn’t have that at all. Sunday I went to a Levi’s party after the show of Dennis Diem. Free drinks and cute guys, haha. Unfortunately I didn’t stay long because I had to work the next day.

Outfit | My New Furry Friend

Hi sweeties! A very good morning to you! I hope you had a great weekend. Today an all black look on the blog. With black you never go wrong, right?. I wear my new furry friend and leopard watch from the webshop TheMusthaves. When the packet arrived I didn’t know what I could expected, because it was a surprise. The stylist did a great job, because it’s definitely me. Like I said it’s a whole black outfit, but the hat and the shoes gives this look a edgy touch.

What do you think of this location? I love it. When I went to the gay pride in Amsterdam and on our way back home we saw this alley with al the graffiti and paintings. We all said to each other (I was with other bloggers) this is the perfect shooting location. So last monday I went back to the alley for this shoot.

Outfit | Minimal Style

Good morning! Did you enjoy the weekend? I did! :). Saturday I went out for dinner at Humphrey’s in Utrecht. We toke the movie arrangement, 3 course and free tickets for the movie for €31,-. Really a nice place. When you are in Utrecht some day remember this :). So after dinner we went to the movie Sex tape with Camaron Diaz. Definitely a hilarious movie, but I excepted more. Not cinema material, more for on the couch. Yesterday I went with Stephanie to Amsterdam for a shooting day. Well we tried! It was raining cats and dogs. Lucky it was 30 min dry so we could make one look. We went also to the Marc Jacobs tweetstore at the Bijenkorf. If you tweet a photo with the parfum and they like your picture you get a parfum for free or for trying a view samples. By us it was a disaster. We had really some nice pictures, but guess!? We got only the samples. They barely look at our pictures. I was a little bit angry because we came from Utrecht for this to Amsterdam. Beside that everyone around me that I know got a parfum. So it was really not our lucky day! But I have to see it positive, I had a great day with my friend and we had a delicious lunch at the De Drie graefjes.

Okay, but the outfit that I shoot yesterday is this one. Finally I can show you my beautiful holographic shoes. Yesterday I made an inspiration post about it, you can find it here. I’m totally into the minimal style lately. Love the black and white combinations. Ad some striped in the look and you ready to go.
