Hello there! Hope you’re all doing fine! This week I will post a lot of my Dubai pictures. Show you my looks but also a travel diary about Dubai. Meaning my personal favorite hotspots and tips in and around Dubai.
Today I will start with an outfit post. I celebrate my bday in Dubai and wanted to do something special. Thanks of the great tip from Sabine (ps she started her own blog, check it out HERE) I know about the high tea in the seven star hotel Burj Al Arab. It was really expensive. It cost €160,- p.p. and than you have the High tea nearby the reception. For the high tea in the sky bar you will pay €200,- p.p.. Unfortunately that was not an option for us because it was already full on that date. So we did the cheaper one, well cheap I really can’t call it like that, haha. Well you live only once and how often is the change I will go back to Dubai. The High tea was great and the hotel is absolute gorgeous. But I will be honest! For the €160 we paid I expected more. The High tea was nothing special and we got champagne without alcohol, pffff! Big minus! It was an experience, it was fun but for the money you can do better something else.
About my outfit! Because it’s a seven star hotel you had to dress chic. I don’t mind because I love to dress up especially on my Bday. I’m wearing a beautiful Tony Cohen dress. I really felt like a princess or a really, really rich lady, haha. So mission accomplices! This week Amsterdam Fashion Week will start and today I’m going to the showroom from Tony Cohen to pick a dress for his show. I’m really excited, because It’s a honor to choose an outfit from his atelier. Follow me on snapchat ‘wendyvsoest’ to get a sneak peek.
