MBFWA | Tailor&Elbaz

Maria Tailor and Tamara Elbaz transformed the Westergasfabriek into a dreamy fairytale, based on Alice in Wonderland.
‘Queens of hearts’ is the name of the fourth collection of Tamara and Maria. The collection is glamorous, rock ‘n roll and sporty. We saw a lot of polo dresses, blossoming skirts, pencil skirts, varsity jackets, ‘love’ and ‘queen’ tops and denim shorts covered with hearts, consisted of sporty black and white looks. Lovely pink and blue skirt and dresses. Their color palette of choice existed of shades of black, white, blue and pink.

My favorite was the long blazer in black & white and the top which Marie was wearing at the end. Great collection and an awesome show. I really thought I was part of the fairytale!

Outfit | MBFWA Look 1

orning babes! How are we feeling today? Weekends fly when you having fun! You probably already saw it on Instagram or snapchat but Friday and Sunday I went to the MBFWA (Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam). This week you will see more about it, but first things first my outfit.

I’m wearing a beautiful leather dress with some suede accents on top and on the sleeves. To finish my look I added this beautiful long cardigan/blazer, which is also from the 2love collection. The fabric of the cardigan looks suede but it is not. I really love the color! It’s green, but on the pictures it’s looks green/brown/grey? Haha I actually don’t know, what do you think? Of course I chose some killer heels and my all time favourite bag from Furla. Yep, I have a love relationship with my Furla! You will see him on almost every outfit picture, haha. MBFWA | Tony Cohen SS16

The madness of fashion week is started and also on my blog! I will start with the show of Tony Cohen SS16. My favorite designer with always gorgeous collections. Lucky me! I was able to wear something from Tony himself. Monday I will show you the outfit.

BACK TO SQUARE ONE! Tony went back to his core, the core of his firm but also the core of his designs. His color palette of choice existed of shades of black, white, gold, cream and green, combined with graphic prints inspired by artisanal embroideries. Once again Kim Feenstra and Ovo Drenth (Dutch famous models) where the lead models of the show. Tony showed us two impressive collections for woman and man who dare to show their true nature to the outside world. I’m again in love! My favorite piece of this collection is the dress which Kim Feenstra wear on the first photo.

Insta Diary | MBFWA 2015

Morning babes! I’m happy! Why? Because it’s Friday, whooohh! Instead of an outfit post an Insta Diary about the last weekend of FashionWeek. Actually I wanted to show you my other look from day 1, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to shoot that look. Maybe I will shoot it this weekend and show it later.

About FashionWeek! Actually there is not much to tell. I only went to two show ‘Tony Cohen & Dennis Diem‘. Normally I go to a lot of shows, but with my busy work schedule it wasn’t possible. But this FashionWeek was relaxing. Normal it’s alway from one show to the next, no eating and late nights, exhausting. Now I didn’t have that at all. Sunday I went to a Levi’s party after the show of Dennis Diem. Free drinks and cute guys, haha. Unfortunately I didn’t stay long because I had to work the next day.

MBFWA | Dennis Diem

Morning! Sunday I went together with Kevin to Dennis Diem. The show started with a singer high above the audience with the song ‘Trouble in paradise’. Dennis presented a feminine yet powerful collection. Fifties silhouettes as menswear pants with loose legs, high wist and tuxedo jackets in black and white. Circle skits from silk gazar and woolen crêpe. Evening gowns with crop tops in black and deep red produced from satin duchesse. Designs made out of green iridescent beetle shields formed the most astonishing pieces of the collection. As small necklaces, embroidered flowers (from nacre), elegant nude colored, towering high shoes and old Hollywood glam hairdos completed the paradise picture. Truly a gorgeous collection.
