    Sivatel - Bangkok1
Hi Sweeties! Today I will take you back to my backpack journey through Thailand. The last day I stayed at a beautiful and luxury hotel. When I saw pictures on Instagram I has to explore this hotel by myself. It was a little but out of my budget, but hey you live only once and maybe I never come back to Bangkok. So I made the reservation :).

Sivatel hotel is one of the top 10 luxury hotels in Bangkok. Which 37 levels you have a beautiful view at the skyline from Bangkok. On level 8 you can find the infinity pool, (this was one of the reasons I wanted to go there) fitness/sauna centre and restaurant.

When we arrived at the hotel immediately the staff came to use to help  with our backpacks. When we arrived in the lobby we  got a welcomes cocktail  while they check the reservation. After 10 minutes we could go to the room. When we opened the door we couldn’t believed it. (yes, my first time in such a luxury hotel). The room is really bigger than my house haha. The room excited out 3 parts, living room, bedroom and bathroom. The staff spoiled us with fresh fruit and macaroons, yummy!! The wifi connect is in the whole hotel great and it’s also possible to have internet on the television. Great option, especially for bloggers, hihi.

Well take a look by yourself! Enjoy the pictures!

If you planned to go to Thailand I can recommend this hotel. Friendly staff, great facilities, location and an amazing infinity pool.
I paid for one night €104,-, okay it’s a lot, but if you are with two persons you can share it. Normally in Holland I will paid for this kind of luxury  around the €300,-. So actually it’s not that expansive and trust me you wouldn’t be disappointed. If you think no it’s to expansive you could go for one day laying by the infinity pool. That’s cost 600 bath (around €15,-).

    Outfit | Freedom Beach

Morning! Today is a hot day! Time to go to the beach or should I still go to that festival! Pff I still don’t know what to do, but for now a beachy look on the blog.
I made those pictures in Koh Tao at Freedom Beach and Mae Beach. Gorgeous beaches! Am wearing my favorite blouse and sunnies from Loavies. This blouse was so handy on my backpacking trip. I could combined It almost with everything. The bikini I bought in a shop at Koh Phangan for only €8,-. I really like the print and colors. This is actually the first time am posting an outfit in bikini. Am always insecure about my figure (Just like with the rest of the world :P), but the photo’s turn out very well. And I am done with that insecurity, this is who I am take it or leave it. :).

    Travel | Week 5 & 6

Hi sweetied! How are we today? Sorry I didn’t post last week, but at Koh Pha-Ngan I couldn’t find an Internet cafe nearby. So today is a two weeks post. I promise I don’t make it long ;). First we going back to Bali, Kuta. That is one of the most tourist place in Bali. I thought this will be the best en fun place of Bali. I was so wrong! What a terrible place. The beaches are not nice, only if you want to surf. But laying on the beach, well I saw better ones. Going out is to busy and expansive. And the worst are the cars and scooters. They are everywhere and do they watch out no!!! Lucky the had a big shoppingmall with a Zara, Mango, Pull and Bear and many more. That was a big plus. The place Seminyak is a bitt beter. Kuta is nice for when you are 18 till 22 I think, but at mine age no. Lucky the last evening we met a local and other nice people in a little bar nearby our homestayed. So that was really nice. We went to Alley Cats and later somthing with pirates??? That was fun! Oh we did also a little excursion over there. We went to Tanah Lot. It was nice, but that day er was a big ceremoni. So a lott of people what ruined the view and to came there OMG the traffice! I think we sat almost 2 hours in the car only to get there. Haha so if you could see I’m not so positieve about this place :P. It’s get’s worse. When we wanted to gets our plane to Thailand. We almost missed it. Why? Because you have to pay 2 miljoen roepies per person to go though the gat. Ofcourse we spend al our money, because in Thailand we don’t have anything of our roepies. Credicard was not possible and my pin was not working. Lucky Marijn de pin did and we could go through the gate. But of the big line we almost missed the flight, so it was a little bit stressfull. But we made it.

And than we where back at Bangkok. We stayed at the BTS Aiys hotel with swimmingpool. So that was our entertainment that day. Not bad at all. In the evening I went to the movie A day after tomorrow with Tom Cruise. Really a good movie. The next day we had a long trip with the bus to go to Koh Pha-Ngan for the full moon party. When we finally arrived at our Hostel Ecco Beach Backpackers we where a little bit disapointed. The bed where horrible. Sleeping with 8 people at the room (That’s not a problem) met 4 beds were next to each other en above you had the other 4. It was so small. I really thought it’s a gave. Lucky we met some nice people overthere and breakfast and dinner was for free. And a big plus they had a big Cinema at the hostel. ;).

Koh Pha-Ngan is very expansive. You can tell they use the Full Moon party good. Everything is twice more than normal. so we rented a scooter for 120 bath per day. (thats 3 or 4 euros). Much cheaper than go by taxi. It’s nice to drive there only to the beach is a little bit scary, because of the high hills. But we survived. Okay and now what do I think of Koh Pha-Ngan? Well the same anwser as for Kuta. Horrible! The full moon party is overated. Everyone is drunk and stoned or high. Sorry not really my scene. The weather was really bad, so laying on the beach was usefull. There is nothing to see on the island. Really e tryed. Wanted to go to the waterfalls and view point. But there was no water so no waterfall. The view point is hard to reach, so again a great day :(. We where stuck at the hostel. So we sleep a lott and saw a lott of movies.

At this moment I am at Koh Samui. This could be really a nice Island if there is sun. But again the weather is bad! On an Island there is nothing to do than laying in the sun. We hired a scooter to see somthing of the island. But again it was a dissater. This time there was water by the waterfall. But is was hard to climb, very scared. And when we where on the top it was raining hard! So the road was more scary. i though I will dy here. Than back at the hostel we pick up our clothes by the loundry. OMG! The ruined my clothes. What was white is now pink. With a lott of blached and white pouder I saved my short. But my new dress I could trow away. After that we went to see the big Buddha. A drive of 45min to see a sculpture of a buddha. Ofcourse it was nice to see, but to drive so far no! Going out is nice here but not spectactulaire. Actually I’m a little bit done with this trip. I really counting the days! The weather would stay like this, so what am I doing here?? I love to be laying on the beach and get tan.

Today we going to Koh Tao. Everyone saids It would be nice. I think it would be again sitting in the Hotel. So wish me luck that the sun will be shinning.

Sorry again a long story and unfortunally not so positief. Ofcourse I see loveling things and enjoining myself. I thing it was more better in high season (with sun).

    Well enjoy the pictures!

    Enjoy your day!

    Travel | Week 4

Hi sweeties, just a quick update from Bali. At this moment I’m in Kuta, but this diary post will be about the Gili Island  (Trawangan). Ohhhh I love that place! It’s so beautiful! Defintely the best place so far! Our First day at Gili Island we booked a 4stars hotel. We wanted some luxery :). On internet we read that the hotel would be in the centre of Trawangan. Well wrong! When we arrived at Gili everyone told use it’s on the otherside, 30 min walking! We thought OMG! How we gonna do that with our backpack. On Gili there are only bikes or horses. Unfortunaly we most took a horse with car. I think it was not so nice for the horses but we didn’t had a choose. When we finally arrived at the hotel (Aston Sunset Beach Resort) it tooks for ever when we check-in. So slow! At one pont we said we gonna lay by the pool and we check-in later. But when we saw our room (after a long time of waiting) we forgot everything, haha. So nice! The bed, bathroom wow! Defentely a big go. The only two dislikes was that the staff are very slow and the hotel is to far from the centre. We wanted to stay for tonight but after our night walk (it was so scary) back to our hotel we wanted to go to an other hotel in the centre. So the next day we went to Budha Dive. A very kitchy room haha. But in the middle of everything. Yes that is how we liked it. And the other two days we stayed in a hostel because our money is going fast! But we are blond, because you have to paid per person in a hostel. In Budha you paid only the room split door two. So we not save some money and staying in a room with 10 other people. Haha, but lucky we met some nice people over there.

Okay what did I do in Gili. We went a lot to the beach. Pearl Lounge Beach. It is so nice there. If you gonna eat and drink there you can lay for free on the sunbeds. Also you could use the swimmingpool. So if you go to Gili you difently have to go there. Every night by hotel Ombak the played around 19:00 and 21:00 Movies on the beach. Also a must to do over there. And for the party people you gonna love Gili. Every night everyone go to the same bar. That is so nice because the whole island is there. Going out is started late most of the time around 01:00 or 02:00 till sunrise :). We party a lott, hihi. Oh and don’t leave the Island before you have see the sunset.  Around 17:00 everyone is going to the sunset view. Music, drinks and a beautiful view.  Swimming at night in the sea is so awesom. Did you see the movie the beach? You see in the water blue lights. We saw that also. So nice, bit scary because you know it’s  a bug/animal (whatever :p).  We dronk also a josh! Typical Bali’s. It’s a powder what you drink with vodka. The effect you get more energy! So kinda a redbull, but than twenty! Haha.

Okay! So if you can see we only did laying on the beach and going out. But doesn’t matter we liked it! I am not a Dive our snorkel person. But the people who do! Than you are on Gili also on the wright place. I think for now gili is my favorite place! I met some nice people and had a really great time.

Wel next week I will tell you everything about Kuta!
    Enjoy the pictures!
    Enjoy your day!

    Travel | Week 3

EHi sweeties! How’s life? Here it’s great, still enjoying this backpackers life. Again it was difficult to upload those pictures. I wanted to throw the computer, but everything for the blog. In last week travel post you saw some pictures from Koh Phi Phi. The first 3 pictures are also from Phi Phi. That was our last night out over there. We met some nice people and again the buckets, haha. Yep crazy night. The stole my havianas Flip-flops, booohhh :(. But still a night to remember. The next day we had again a long road for use, 14 hours drive to Bangkok. Horribele , but the bus is so much cheaper than the plane. When we arrived in Bangkok we still had one day, because our flight to Bali was around 06:15 Am on Saterday. We arrived Friday at 07:00 AM. So we wanted to book a hotel in Bangkok. We thought we do it when we arrived in Bangkok at the station. But we dropped at station Nord. Awfull station. Nobody speaks English and they don’t want to help you. There we were with no plan and our big backpack. The only thing we now we where nearby Chatchuchak market and we know there is a BTS. We thought we could walk but we got lost. We took a taxi (for 500 meter) to the BTS, because we don’t know what to do. Lucky the taxi driver told use that the AirPort, Don Mueamg was nearby. So now was or plan go to the BTS, get one stop and find there a hostel. So we did that! To find a hostel was also difficult. Thank god there was a internet cafe nearby so we could look it op. What I wanted to say with this story! Planned everything! Haha than you get not this bullshit :p.

When we finally arrived in the hotel we sleep a little bit and after that we went to centre Siam. Shopping!! I bought a lot. My backpack was 12 kilo’s now 15. Oeps!!! Soon you will see everything om the blog. We went also to the movie bad Neighbours with Zack Efron! Yes my dream guy!! Pfff! <3. Really a nice movie! Around 20:00 pm the movie was finish. We went straight to the hotel because there was a night curview. After 22:00 Nobody is allowed to go outside (I think you saw the news :p). Around 03:30 pm we were pick up  by the taxi to go to the Airport (lucky that was allowed).

Than after 5 hours flight we finally arrived at Bali. The First place was Ubud. OMG what a borring place. Nothing to do. In the day we went to a Spa at the mounting (Karsa Spa). That was really nice! We had a beautiful view (ricefields) and a great massages and facical! If you are here defentely a GO! The next day we went to the Monkey forrest to see the monkeys. Crazy animals and somethimes scary, but fun. After that we took the bus to Candi dasa. We had really a cheap bus but by a drop off zone the left use! We where waiting for another bus, but it never came. F**kers! Don’t go with Perama!! So we took a taxi to our hotel.

We stay now in Temple Cafe & draaide Cottages. Great hostel with such nice people. I felt immitelay at home!  And that for only 3 euro’s a night. Crazy! The next two days the lady from the hostel arrange a prived driver for us. We went to a beach (white Sandy Beach) and the next day a tour to the water place in Tirta Gangga and beach Amed. Lovely day! And the water temple so nice! In the evening we went to Queens Bar and we met there some lovely people. Also a place with nothing, but in Queens bar you will defently have a great time! Unfortunaly I missed a view drinks, because I went to an internet cafe to upload this post. But like I said everything for the blog.

Tomorrow we go to the Gili Islands and this time we booked a 5 stars hotel! Can’t wait. Now see you next week 🙂

    Enjoy the pictures!

     Enjoy your day sweeties!
