    Who says V-day is for couples? Being single on Valentine’s Day isn’t really a big deal. So for all the single ladies out there, don’t feel bad if you don’t have somebody right now on your side. I can say this because I am single too. We are young, free and gorgeous! Don’t forget that! With saying this I will give your 5 reasons why alone is not so bad on V-day. C’mon, singles, claim your Valentine’s Day!

    1. Me-Time
    This V-day you can stay in your PJ’s, turn to Netflix, pampering yourself with some face mask and eat as many chocolate and ice cream what your want. You don’t have to share all those guilty pleasures and no fight about which movie or serie’s you want to watch. Just spend the night with your ultimate celeb crush. Whether it’s Brad pitt, George Clooney or Johnny Depp treat yourself to an eye-candy marathon. Another plus is you have the bed all for yourself. No snoring, no pulling of the sheets and you can lay where ever YOU want.

    2. Host an anti-Valentines Day party
    Invite your (single) friends over for wine, cocktails, appetizers, gossiping and good times. It could be fun to make it a theme party. Like everyone wear pink or black and call it ‘Happy Single‘ or ‘Love Hurts‘. Play songs like ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ or watch anti love movies. Just you with your girls! Beside that it’s a good reason to organized a party.

    3. Share the Love
    Because you are single that doesn’t means you are alone. Just express your love for the important people in your life, like your parents, grandparents, brother, sister or best friend. These are the people that truly love you unconditionally, and I think they would appreciate it.

    4. Have a secret cupid
    Gathering all your single friends and throw a little Secret Cupid Party. This is like Secret Santa: Draw names and then deliver items like chocolates, flowers and teddy bears to each other. That way everyone can have a Valentine….

    5. Pet love
    Have a pet? Seriously, let your pet be your Valentine. Buy your dog, cat, bunny, bird, or snake something really special.     H    appy Valentines Day, sweeties! Your hate it or love it! A day for couples to show them there love for each other. Also a good day for the shops either. For single girls, just like myself the idea of Valentine can be rather daunting. Everywhere you look you see love couples, heart shaped candy, flowers and mans buying some sexy lingerie for there girlfriend. (Yesterday I saw a few men in the Hunkermoller (lingerie shop) shopping, hihi). I be honest, I think Valentine’s day is to commercial. Why do you have to show your love this day. When you are a couple you have to do that every day. Okay I don’t mean you have to give everyday a present, but a nice whatsapp messages, some sweet words or how you look to each other will be sufficient. And of course a present to show your love is always nice, but than on a day when you didn’t expected.

    BUT! Woman are complicated. Because we know it’s to commercial but yet we hope to get something on that special love day. Also when you decided with the boy to do nothing about it. And the single girls, yes also me are hoping for a secret admirer. Yes, woman are weird!

    I just want to say to everyone have a lovely Valentine’s Day! Enjoy it with you men! And for the single girls just some reasons why alone is not so bad on February 14th.

    * This V-day you can treat yourself to exactly what you want, like a cute set of pajamas and not another impractical and let’s face it uncomfortable lingerie included cutouts, suspenders and garters.
    * You can eat what you want, when you want and however much you want. This day it’s allowed and you don’t have to share your dessert. Show me one person who actually enjoys sharing dessert.
    * You get to choose what to watch on tv/netflix.
    * You have the bed all for yourself. No snoring, no pulling of the sheets and you can lay where ever YOU want.
