Rain, rain and rain in Holland. This makes me even more desire to last weekend when I was invited to come to Ibiza with Gin Mare. Do you remember my post about the new Gin Mare campaign? Well I did the detox and I won an awesome weekend to Ibiza where I stayed at a gorgeous ‘Vila Mare‘.
Unfortunately my trip started not good at all. The NS had big problems around Utrecht with the trains. Around 2pm it would be resolved, but that was not an option for me because my flight leaves at 2pm. I called ten taxi services but it was so busy that it would be 1 hour for the first taxi was available. Oh lord I was never so stressed out in my life. I man saw that and he told me that a friend was picking him up to bring hem to Utrecht. He was so friendly that he offer my a ride. Thank god! But still in Utrecht I would have the same problem and the time was ticking. Stress, stress and stress! I was so desperate that I ask the driver to bring me to Schiphol for €100,-. Lucky for me he did it and I catch my flight in time! Stupid of me I started immediately with €100,-, but it was out my mouth before I know it. Well the NS will get an angry letter of me that’s for sure!
When we arrived at the airport in Ibiza we where pick up by Gin mare to bring us to the Vila. Thirty minutes later we arrived at the gorgeous vila I ever saw. WOW, what a view and beautiful house with the best pool ever. When everyone introduce themselves it was time for some relaxing at the pool and watching the beautiful sunset. Because it was a detox weekend we where not allowed to use our phones. Their was a nanny that took our phones to take care of it. I really could without wifi no problem at all, but without my phone I also couldn’t make any pictures. AAAAHHHHHH! Lucky I brought my Canon with me and beside that Gin Mare hired a professional photographer for the whole weekend.
After dinner Gin Mare organized a privet party in the vila for us. DJ Jordi Ruz was playing for us. Resident DJ @ Beso Beach in Formentera. It was a fun night! Great music, A lot of Gin Tonics, dancing and night swimming. The next day we had a full schedule with activities like a yoga session, a cocktail masterclass and neuropsychologist Alexia de la Morena gave us a talk regarding the digital disconnection. In the night we had a fantastic dinner at HEART Ibiza, wow what an experience was that. Amazing food and a lot of entertainment. You really didn’t know where to look. You almost forgot to eat. After dinner we did some dancing at Club Pacha. Of course with our own Gin Mare conner. Sunday was a relaxing day at the pool!
So I really had an amazing experience in Ibiza with some lovely people from everywhere. (Germany, Spain, Belgium and Holland).Thank you Gin Mare for this awesome weekend. I really hope to see you guys again! Well let’s do it next year again, I’m in!
