Morning, Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas! I already can tell you fabulous it is! The place to party, gamble and having fun. Las Vegas should be definitely be on your bucket list. You will enjoy this place. Actually it’s Disneyworld for adults, haha. In my travel diary I will tell you my experience, but first some general information about this place. Here we go!
The Strip
The most important main artery of Las Vegas is ‘ The Strip ‘. To this kilometers long street are many prestigious hotels and casinos, including The Venetian, Flamingo, The Bellagio, MGM Grand, New York-New York and Wynn Las Vegas. It is a very busy street with a lot of traffic.
Fremont Street
The most vibrant piece of Las Vegas has to be Freemont Street. In this street was build the first hotel in the city. Fremont Streets attracts millions of visitors. In this street you can find the famous casino ‘ Golden Nugget ‘. Outside the casinos there are plenty of other entertainment facilities in this part of the city.
Casino’s
Everyone knows that Las Vegas is called the playground of the adults. Nowhere in the world is the supply of luxury to very luxury casinos as great as here. The theater shows are of unparalleled quality and thus also the architecture in this area. The most beautiful places of the world are processed here and there in the magisterial casinos. Go and have a look in Paris at the Paris Hotel with its replica of the Eiffel Tower or go to Italy to The Venetian with its gondola rides. Other impressive casinos are The Mirage, MGM Grand, Luxor Hotel, The Palazzo, Wynn Las Vegas, Planet Hollywood Resort Casino, Monte Carlo Resort and Casino & & The Palms.
City Center
Between the Bellagio and Monte Carlo Hotel Casino is the most expensive piece of & privately financed construction project in u.s. history. Here is the city center of Las Vegas. It contains a number of hotels with casino, shopping centers, parking garages, fire station, theatres, spa, Conference and meeting rooms and lots of forms of art.
Chapel’s
It is known that you quickly can get married in Las Vegas. This is done in a ‘ Chapel ‘ with or without the help of an “Elvis” or someone from the street. The wedding packages are expanding with music, dvd recording, photos, limousine or Pink Cadillac, candles, wedding bouquet and a dressing room for the bride. Many of these trouwkap games you can find on Las Vegas Boulevard.
Siegfried and Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat
The Magic duo Siegfried and Roy have a private park at Hotel Mirage to ‘ The Strip ‘. It was a dream to create a park of this duo for their beloved endangered species like the White Tiger, Panthers, leopards and Lions. In this beautiful oasis is even an aquarium where you can have interaction with various dolphins.
The Smith Center
The Center for all kinds of performing arts is now combined in the Smith Center. The artistic Center is a 5 acres of land. It consists of three buildings and ample space for outdoor concerts. This Symphony park of Las Vegas can be found in Downtown Las Vegas.
Fashion Show Mall
Big shopping centre with a lot of fashion shops like Zara, TopShop, Forever21 etc.
The Bellagio
On a beautiful 8 acres of more is the impressive hotel and casino of Bellagio. The whole is inspired by Lake Como in Italy. The same elegance is reflected in this bit of Las Vegas. In the lobby are 2000 hand-blown glass stylish and graceful flowers for the decoration to be found. The Bellagio fountains give a spectacular show regularly. The Bellagio is also home to the magnificent Cirque du Soleil. There is also a part reserved for the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Arts.
The Stratosphere Observation Deck
The 350-metre-high tower at Stratosphere hotel ‘ The ‘ is a feature of the city. At the top is a viewing platform and restaurant. Because it rotates you have a very beautiful view of the spectacular city of Las Vegas and The Strip. For those who like a little bit of tension are looking for, is there above the observation deck a fairground attraction named “X-Scream”
Death Valley National Park
If you want to escape Las Vegas, you need to visit the Death Valley National Park. This beautiful park is about 216 kilometers Northwest of Las Vegas. This desert meet the highest temperatures of North America. There are several walking tours books where you visit the historical (gold) mines, Scotty’s Castle and the wilderness. What makes a visit to the Death Valley at all, is to do this by helicopter flight. Then you’re with a small forty minutes in the park.
