I love to go to fashion events! Lucky for me I got a invitation to the Nikkie Plessen F/W ’13 Fashion Show. In collaboration with VOGUE Exclusive the event took place at The Harbour Club in Amsterdam. Seven hundred guest including press, fashion bloggers, retailers, VIP’s and Dutch celebrities watched the show.
The catwalkshow consisted four different rounds with clothes from the categories outwear, office, casual and party. Next to the regular catwalk, there was a real iceskating track where models on ice-skates show the collection.
The collection is wearable and affordable for everyone. This brand stands for independent, fashionable and strong women and has a balance between trendy, sexy, rock chick and boho-chic. We saw a lot of leather and fake fur in the NIKKIE collection. Personal I like the ‘office and party’ category the most, because the items in this category consists a lot of leather. I definitely want the black leather jacket with fringes and the gold leather skirt! 🙂 Don’t get me wrong, I found the entire collection amazing.
After the show It was time for a after-party with DJ Phalerieau (Valerio Zeno). Here we were dancing, drinking and chatting about the show. Unfortunately everything has an end so after the nice goodiebag with products of Vogue we went home with a amazing experience.
