Last Thursday after the Digitalseed event from UPR, Farah and I went to Remise47 for dinner. Remise47 is located near the popular “De Hallen” in Amsterdam. The ambiance in the restaurant is great, it’s trendy and have an Urban bistro vibe. A perfect combination between art, design and great food. A funny fact is that the restaurant is located in a former tram depot, you can still see the rails on the floor.

Remise47 is perfect for a delicious breakfast, extensive lunch, drinks or dinner. It’s a perfect place to catch up with friends or a romantic dinner with your lover. On the French and international menu you can find dishes like hamburgers, salads, soups, steak tartar, different kind of pasta’s, ribeye and fines de claires.

As a starter Farah and I choose for the Dutch shrimp croquet and Ceasar salad. It was really delicious and the portions where of perfect size. For the main course we choose the chicken and the hamburger. Again delicious! All the food was super good prepared. Last but not least we order a vanilla creme brûlée and apple pie with fresh mint tea. Desserts are always the best!, haha.

I really can recommend this restaurant. Perfect location, great food and the staff is really friendly. When you don’t want to end your evening yet go to the filmhallen for a movie. This is also located in ‘The Hallen’.
