Morning! it’s already my 40th blogger spotlight post! And I’m planning many more :). Today I want to introduce you to the beautiful Emilia from the blog Pixels by Emilia. Emilia started her blog with a friend, but blogging together turned out not so easy. So she decided to blog alone. It’s not only a fashion blog, actually it’s Emilia personal diary what she love to share with the world. At the current moment she live in Suriname, because she have an internship abroad. I’m jealous now! Especially when I see all her summer pictures.

1. Can you tell us a little about yourself?
Sure! My name is Emilia, I’m 21 years old and I’m a blogger from the Netherlands. Besides blogging, I’m also a student and I have a job at a greenhouse. The things I love most in life are animals, cycling, tea, traveling and most of all my boyfriend, friends and family.
2. What was the reason why you started your blog?
I had been following blogs for ages, when a friend and I came up with the idea to create a website of our own. Blogging together turned out not so easy though, so I went on by myself. I think it’s the perfect combination of writing and photographing and I love it!
3. How would you describe your clothing style?
My style is very basic and simple, but I always try to add a little touch, by picking different fabrics or one statement piece. Most of the time I wear super comfy outfits, since I cycle basically everywhere I go.
4. How do you keep coming up with material/content for your blog? Many people struggle with coming up with different articles/posts.
My blog is mainly a personal diary, which means I write about all the things I do and see. That makes it quite easy to come up with subjects to write about, since everything I do can inspire me to create an article!
5. What are you favorite brands and shops?
I love Mango and Zara! I never leave those shops empty handed. And during an online shopping spree I always visit Asos and Topshop.
6. What’s now on your wish list?
I want a cute little golden necklace and bracelet to match the golden watch my boyfriend got me for Christmas. I found the perfect necklace at the Tiffany’s webshop, but the pricetag got me crying, so I’ll just keep on searching.
7. If someone was interested in blogging, what would be a few things you would suggest? Tips!
Go for it! Blogging is so much fun and it’s not expensive to create a blog, so just go for it and find out if it’s the perfect hobby for you. Pick a subject you love to write about (that can be basically everything, from fashion to cars and from cooking to horses, as long as it’ll keep you inspired), think of a fun and catchy name, claim your domain and have fun!
