Morning babes! In today’s blogger spotlight the beautiful Roos from Roos’ Notes. Look at that girl hair! Not jealous at all, haha. Roos started her blog at a young age. She was 14 year, had a passion for fashion and got inspired from other bloggers. This where the mean reasons why she started a blog. 1. Can you tell us a little about yourself?
Hi! My name is Roos and I’m an 18-year old lifestyle blogger from Amsterdam. I’ve been blogging for over 4 years now and I’ve changed my passion for fashion to a passion for fashion, food, interior, DIY-projects and more. Roos’ Notes is my own little online diary.
2. What was the reason why you started your blog?
I started my blog when I was about 14. I had a big love for fashion and I came across some small blogs from girls from Holland. I saw that they were sharing their looks and it really inspired me. I was quite bored at that time so the start of my blog was the perfect solution!
3. How would you describe your clothing style?
My clothing style differs each month. I’m a big lover of furry materials during winter, and I love a good pair of high waisted denim shorts during summer. But over all I like to combine my eyecatchers with basic items. Like my p.i.m.p. like (ha-ha) leopard coat I got at Primark. I love to combine it with a basic cable knit sweater, black jeans and black boots.
4. How do you keep coming up with material/content for your blog? Many people struggle with coming up with different articles/posts.
Other blogs inspire me a lot. But I also get a lof of inspiration from Pinterest.When I’m full of inspiration, I write down all my ideas. So that when I have a blog-dip I can easily come up with ideas. But even when it’s rainy and dark outside I always find something to blog about. But the summer definitely gives me more inspiration!
5. What are you favorite brands and shops?
I actually can’t say that I have one absolute favorite brand. I like to shop during sale and especially online. I buy whatever I like, wherever I like. I have a lot of pieces from Primark, Boohoo, H&M (the basics), eBay (cheap!) and Forever21.
6. What’s now on your wishlist?
A big black leather shopper. I see them everywhere but I’m looking for the perfect fit.
7. If someone was interested in blogging, what would be a few things you would suggest? Tips!
Well, first of all start off immediately. If you know what you want to write about, do it! There are so much bloggers lately so it’s important to be original and try not to be a copycat. Don’t focus on the amount of viewers. That never made me happy 😉 Just blog because it’s fun!
